PRP treatments involve harvesting platelet rich plasma (PRP) from your blood and injecting them into the affected area to promote healing and tissue growth. When injected, these factors can stimulate hair follicles and encourage hair growth. When treating hair loss, you will typically need 3 sessions over a period of 4-6 months.
Anyone experiencing hair loss is a good candidate, but those who are still in the early stages may experience better results. To get the most out of the treatment, consistency is key. Maintenance treatments after the initial procedure will help manage the hair loss.
Due to the nature of PRP, there is very little recovery time and minor side effects if any. There may be some mild pain at the injection site, swelling, a little bleeding, or itching. Most patients undergo the procedure without any numbing. If you are experiencing mild discomfort, cooling the area can help.
If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments, or appointments canceled without 24 hours notice, will incur a fee of $35. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time.
We are in network with hospitals such as St. Lukes, St. Alphonsus, and West Valley.
